Hi anybody who looks, life unfortanlty got in the way blog. As i now look at my sleeping 5 week old daughter, after sorting out my 4 year old thats had a nightmare I'm now sat in front of the laptop. Sorry I now swear to make sure at least one post a week. I will be putting up some posts of games I've had in the mean time with I took at the time put never got my finger out.

My son's first seige
Moving on from the 1st game we havd a go at a seige with the brave king and his knights, wizard and pet dragon, against the evil wizard with his pirates and orcs.

My son's first wargame Knights Vs Pirates
Well he is 3 1/2 so it was a little rules light.
The knight and dragon are talking tatics
While the orcs hold the pirates up in the forest the foot knight, dragon, king and wizard are about to unleash hell.
He wanted to put hills and hills from my general terrian box, he wanted to use cows and horses but then thought th eknights would be cool, I then suggested pirates - Sold.
Next plan is to add measuring sticks and dice, and he loves dice.

The Toys of the Ring Fail
As you may notice the promised start of The Toys of the Ring promised blog was a fail, I plan for next week on Monday after Playschool.
My wife has given me an old ring to use as THE RING and I just need to find something nice for him to wear it on.
This has given me more time to plan, and have a good look at his toys. At the momment my old Cthulhu toy as the Balrog, and I will make a bridge with some dinning room chairs. The Gandalf stand in will disappear for a week so I have lead his choise of toy to play that part.
Main points so far
Choosing 3 toys and setting off,
Escaping the rider (me on his hobby horse wearing a blanket),
Arrive at the magical city and get the other members together,
Pass over the sofas and go through the cave under the coffee and dinner tables, then on to the bridge of doom being chased by Cthulhu, were one of his toys will have to be left behind to play games.
Then finish by escaping the happy land toys at a lego Amon Hen they need to split up to escape.
Then on to The Two Beds
